Call for papers

Authors are invited to send papers relevant to the conference topics. There are no parallel sessions planed, to create the space to take a part and discuss all topics for all participants. In case of receiving a large number of high-level papers, poster sessions will be included in the program.
Official conference language is English. Abstracts and full papers must be written in the official conference language. Presentations during the conference also must be prepared and performed in the official conference language.
All accepted papers will be included in the conference proceedings on USB stick, which will be available during the conference.
Selected papers will be collected in a book, published by Springer, with indexation in SCOPUS, available after the conference. Papers included in the Springer book will be reviewed. Abstracts of accepted papers for publishing by the Springer will be included in the conference proceedings.
All the authors are asked to make the decision, whether you want to have the paper reviewed or not. If the authors decide to have reviewed paper by Springer line, the first author of the paper must pay the extra fee 100 € when the paper will be accepted for publishing in the Springer book.
Abstract and paper submission
To send the abstracts of papers which should be reviewed – Springer line, please use the Springer conference system OCS – https://ocs.springer.com/misc/home/INGEO_SIG2020. Each author should register to the conference system first, to have the possibility to send the paper.
For preparation of the reviewed full-paper please use the paper template available HERE (please use word template, zip file).
Abstracts of papers, which will be not reviewed could be sent to the conference secretariat by e-mail to jan.erdelyi@stuba.sk and the abstract template.
For preparation of the non-reviewed full-paper please use the paper template.
At least one author of each paper must register, and pay, for the conference until 15th of February 2020. Failure to do so may result in the withdrawal of the submitted paper.
Important dates
Please remember, that the deadline for abstract submission is: October 31st, 2019. THE DEADLINE FOR ABSTRACT SUBMISSION IS EXTENDED UNTIL NOVEMBER 30th 2019.
The acceptance of the paper for the conference program will be made by November 30th December 15th 2019.
Full text of accepted papers should be sent by January 31st 2020.
